Overview:
Martin Wine Cellar in Metairie, LA is looking for one caterer to join our team. We are located at 714 Elmeer Ave in Metairie. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.

Responsibilities
Participate in kitchen and catering preparation
Tasks include bulk salads, dressings, stocks, catering menu items, and assist Chefs and Kitchen as needed
Our catering department’s customers include dining in, gourmet to go, private parties, weddings, in store events, community events, and more.
Attention to Detail along with Strong organization and multi-tasking skills are a must.
Must be reliable, creative, and have the ability to follow recipes.
Expected to maintain high health code, safety and operation practices.
ServSafe certificate preferred and a plus.
Shifts are scheduled to cover restaurant hours, catering volume, and pre-opening/ post-closing duties.
Cross trained and assigned to work other kitchen duties for proper coverage on slow catering days and as needed.

Qualifications:
Fridays and Weekends are required
Have an eye for detail
Demonstrate strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Ability to be a team player
Must be reliable, creative, and have the ability to follow recipes
Maintain a clean and tidy work area
